1. What is the first thing that happens during the application?
         We require a background check ($15) done by the MO Highway Patrol.

2. What does it take to become a member?  
         Applicants must complete 4 months of training

3. Are there any rules that I must follow?  
         The MDF Bylaws and Code of Conduct will be followed. See homepage.

4. Does MDF provide my Gear?  
         All gear is acquired by the individual, MDF does not provide any gear.

5. Are there any fees to be a member of MDF?
         There are no membership dues or fees. Everyone pays their own way though.

6. Where does MDF conduct training at?
         MDF has 5 main training locations throughout the State of Missouri.

7. What will be expected of me?
         MDF expect their members to attend training monthly to ensure proficiency among the members in their skills.

8. Can I join if I have a prior conviction?
         No felons are permitted to join MDF.

9. Are you the Missouri State Defense Force?
        We are not the Missouri State Defense Force. We are not funded by the government nor have or will we ever be.

10. Are there any liabilities that I have to sign?
         You will sign a training waiver which releases MDF from any injury liability.
