HOW WE OPERATE:
WE ARE A VOLUNTEER ORGANIZATION WHO'S MISSION IS TO WORK PRIMARY WITH ELECTED SHERIFFS AND OTHER ELECTED OFFICIALS WITHIN THE STATE OF MISSOURI. WE RESPOND IN TIMES OF NATURAL DISASTERS, ESCAPED FUGITIVE RECOVERY, SEARCH AND RESCUE OPERATIONS, AND PEACEKEEPING MISSIONS.
HOW WE CAME TO BE:
TO SUPPORT OUR LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT AND COMMUNITIES IN A CONSTITUTIONAL MANNER AGAINST THOSE WHO WISH TO ACT AGAINST THE LAWS OF THIS COUNTRY
WHAT IS WANTED IN MEMBERS:
INDIVIDUALS WILL BE EXPECTED TO ATTEND TRAINING EVENTS REGULARLY.
OUR STANDARDS REQUIRE THAT ALL MEMBERS WILL HAVE TO BE OLDER THAN THE AGE OF 18.
ALL MEMBERS WILL PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK BEFORE THEY ARE ABLE TO JOIN.
MUTUAL COOPERATION:
THE MISSOURI DEFENSE FORCE WILL SUPPORT ANY CONSTITUTIONAL MISSION OF THE MISSOURI NATIONAL GUARD WITHIN THE STATE OF MISSOURI AND ASSIST WHEN REQUESTED.

MDF Bylaws
1. All Applicants must go through a background check before handling a firearm.
2. All MDF members will conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times and obey the orders of their superiors.
3. MDF reserves the right to discharge anyone for any reason.
4. Guests are not permitted to handle a firearm unless granted approval by the Captain of their group and have background check completed.
5. No drugs or alcohol are permitted at any/all MDF training events.
6. Any violations of MDF Bylaws and Code of Conduct will be subject to disciplinary actions or termination from MDF.
7. Promotion in MDF is conducted at the state-wide FTX. Will be conducted by their Captain and the Colonel.
8. After the MDF oath the new MDF member must recite out loud the MDF Code of Conduct to the fellow MDF members.
9. No convicted felons are permitted to join or stay within MDF.
10. If MDF members do not participate in MDF training for the time period of one year they will lose all rank and will be required to reenlist.
11. If a Colonel is negligent in their duties, violating the Code of Conduct or Bylaws. Every MDF member of the rank of 0-1 and higher has the right to
vote whether to keep the CO in place or place the XO in charge until the next election date.
12. At all MDF training events there will be a pledge and prayer conducted at the start of each day.

2. I will never surrender of my own free will. If in command, I will never surrender the members of my command while they still have the means to resist.
3. If I am captured, I will continue to resist by all means available. I will make every effort to escape and aid others to escape. I will accept neither parole nor special favors from the enemy.
4. If I become a prisoner of war, I will keep faith with my fellow prisoners. I will give no information nor take part in any action which might be harmful to my comrades. If I am senior, I will take command. If not, I will obey the lawful orders of those appointed over me and will back them up in every way.
5. Should I become a prisoner of war, I am required to give name, rank,service number, and date of birth. I will evade answering further questions to the utmost of my ability. I will make no oral or written statements disloyal to my country and its allies.
